Some blessed individual gave me this candle at one of my bridal showers (if you know who you are, leave a comment below!). Because anxiety is an everyday part of my life, I love to find scents and decorative items that have a calming affect on my brain, body, and soul. This candle is one of the loveliest scents I have found. As soon as my bridal shower candle ran out (I burned that baby to the bitter end this winter), I went out to Target in search of a new one.
The candle has a subtle, soft, clean aroma, like a freshly-washed blanket–that level of cozy and sweet-yet-subtle smelling. The name of the candle sums it up well: Peace + Tranquility; when I light this candle, I feel like it helps me breathe deeper.
In addition, the candle is made with soy wax, which is more natural than the more traditional paraffin wax and is supposed to be healthier for people and the environment.
