My Top 8 Cleaning Products from Grove Collaborative + Product Giveaway!

I buy some of my favorite home and cleaning products through Grove Collaborative. Grove is a one-stop online shop for non toxic, natural-based, home, cleaning, and beauty products. They send you an order each month–or as frequently or infrequently as you choose–with products you select yourself. VIPs get free shipping (no minimum) and four gifts a year; otherwise, you just have to spend $50 in one order for the free shipping (and I still usually get a free gift!). While I don’t purchase often enough to justify the VIP program, I would definitely recommend trying out the VIP program for FREE for 60 days!! You can easily do that by using one of the following links to a get a free Mrs. Meyer’s Winter Bundle, a Jeremiah Brent gift set, or a Sustainability Concentrates Set+ 60 day VIP trial with a purchase of $30 or more (which won’t be difficult once you read about my favorite products that I use below!)

3 reasons I enjoy using Grove:

  • They sell a variety of non-toxic, natural-based products all in one place
  • Fast shipping
  • Excellent customer service (all my interactions with representatives have been very positive and left me extremely satisfied)

Over the last year and a half, I have enjoyed trying a variety of products from Grove, many of which have become a daily part of our cleaning routine! Here is a list of my top 8 products.

  1. Walnut scrubber sponges. Why do I love these so much? They are neutral colored and sustainably made, don’t contain any dyes or chemicals, don’t scratch surfaces, and are quite durable. They also don’t have those hairy fibers that fall out while you are washing, unlike some of the other leading plant-based sponges. I always struggle just a bit with the price tag on these, but they are such a joy to use (and sometimes they come as a free gift with your order or are on sale).
  2. Stain remover spray. I try to be careful with what I put on my skin and the products I use to wash our clothes (since that also goes on our skin). I had been looking for an effective stain spray that didn’t contain chemicals and ordered this one and the Method version. After comparing both, I found this one very effective. I like the fact that you can spray onto the soiled fabric without needing to use the stain remover head to touch/scrub the stain, itself. I also love that Grove now sells refill bottles so that you can keep using the same spray bottle.
  3. Mrs. Meyers dish soap! I already devoted an entire blog post to some of my favorite Mrs. Myers products and scents, but it bears repeating. The dish soap works well, and the beautiful scents truly add an element of enjoyment and fun to the dish washing process. Some of my favorite scents are Rain water, Mum, and Basil, but check out my Mrs. Meyer’s post for more ideas! You can use this link to receive a Mrs. Meyer’s Winter Bundle for FREE with your 1st purchase of $30+. The bundle includes a cleaning caddy, Mrs. Meyers dish soap, hand soap, multi-surface cleaner and my favorite walnut scrubber sponges (+ a Free 60-Day VIP trial)!
  4. Method laundry fragrance boosters. Have I mentioned that scents are VERY important to me? One of the cons of using pant-derived or more natural detergents is that their scents are often weaker. I decided to try these little fragrance boosters from Grove, and they rocked my world. I usually use ⅓ – ½ of the recommended dosage (they recommend 2 full capfuls, I usually use ½-1 capful) and they give our clothes such a beautiful scent that lasts for several weeks. I LOVE the ginger mango scent. The Beach Sage, which I just tried on a recent Grove order, is more of your typical “clean clothes” smell.
  5. Mrs. Meyer’s multi-surface cleaner. My husband loves to use this on the counters, I enjoy using it to wipe non-wood surfaces, like tile floor in the bathroom or kitchen or even for scrubbing stains off of the wall. Again, the lovely scents make cleaning more fun! I keep one under the kitchen sink and one in the bathroom (currently we are using the Rose and the Mum scents). Follow this link to receive a free cleaning set from Grove including several Mrs. Meyer’s products (dish soap + hand soap + multi-purpose cleaner + my favorite sponges) for FREE with a $30 purchase!
  6. Grove Reusable Glass Cleaning Spray Bottle. These are refillable and more durable and prettier than the cheaper, plastic bottles one can find at the dollar or grocery store. In addition, since bottles are made of non-porous glass, they don’t carry the chance of leaching chemicals into whatever liquid is stored inside of them. I also love the colored, silicone sleeves that the bottles come in. I’ve enjoyed using this navy one (more like a teal color) to store my Trader Joe’s vegetable wash and the Seafoam Green ones underneath our bathroom for Grove’s glass cleaner and tub/tile cleaner. 7. Grove Glass Cleaner Concentrate. I absolutely love the scent of the Orange + Rosemary glass cleaner. There are some great sales on these bottles and concentrates right now. Grove is also currently offering a sampling of their glass bottles (1 spray bottle and 1 soap dispenser) + all purpose concentrate + my favorite sponges (!!) for FREE with a $30 purchase! Check it out!
  8. Hydrating Hand Sanitizer. I love this stuff. It smells amazing (doesn’t have the strong alcohol smell that many sanitizers do) and is hydrating rather than drying. It also doesn’t leave a residue on hands. It comes in different sizes with both squeeze and spray options. I keep using our large bottle to refill the little bottle we keep in our car. The Jeremiah Brent x Grove Collaborative Collection that Grove is offering free with your 1st purchase of $30+ includes this hand sanitizer (highly recommend!)

I love using these products which are now a daily part of our life, and I hope my experience and suggestions may prove a blessing to you and your home. Let me know in the comments if you end up using one the links provided above to try Grove Collaborative for the first time. Or, if you already purchase through Grove, let me know YOUR favorite products!
